MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The Ball State soccer team picked up its first Mid-American Conference win of the 2021 campaign on Sunday against Central Michigan. and ended the Cardinals three-match scoreless drought in 2-1 victory over the Chippewas.
CMU recorded the first shot on target of the match, which led to the Chippewas taking a 1-0 lead at the 12-minute mark.
In the 19th minute, ripped a shot from just inside the box, but the CMU keeper was able to make a diving safe. Ralph was in perfect position as she collected the rebound from the saved shot and buried a shot into the back of the net to tie the match at 1-1.
