Cardinals Cruise to 10-1 Victory in Baseball

SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Ball State baseball team erupted for three runs in the fourth inning and four more in the fifth on the way to a 10-1 win over host Savannah State Wednesday evening. With the back-to-back wins over Savannah State, Ball State has evened its overall record at 7-7.

Trailing 1-0 heading into the top of the fourth inning, the Cardinals manufactured three runs while only getting one hit. Three walks and a hit batter put plenty of Cardinals on the base paths. Junior Sean Kennedy finally got Ball State on the board with a sacrifice fly ball.
