MUNCIE, Ind. - The Cardinals (5-1) last four matches have come down to the wire but today Ball State was able to relax early on in the match after taking the doubles point from the Panthers (1-1). After that, Ball State never looked back.
The BSU pair of Sajin Smith and Abe Wojtalik flew past Eastern Illinois' twosome of Juan Carlos Garrido and Kyle Burton 6-1 at the No. 3 slot to get Ball State on the winning track quickly. But the other two doubles courts were both tight competitions as EIU took the early advantage at the top two spots.
