MUNCIE, Ind. -- All of Ball State University’s athletic teams once again comfortably cleared the national standards in the latest multiyear Academic Progress Rate (APR) scores released by the NCAA.
The APR numbers announced Wednesday include data for the four-year period from 2011-12 through 2014-15. All 18 of Ball State’s teams (the NCAA now combines indoor and outdoor track) managed multiyear scores of at least 950, well above the score of 930 required to avoid penalties.
The APR, now in its 11th year, provides a real-time look at a team's academic success each semester by tracking the academic progress of each student-athlete on scholarship.
