GULF SHORES, Ala. -- Bolstered by CJ Jones' round of 71, the Ball State men's golf team moved up into a tie for fifth Tuesday to wrap up the Craft Farms Intercollegiate.
The Cardinals posted a second consecutive round of 292 to finish with a 54-hole total of 882 (+18) on the Cotton Creek course at Craft Farms. They tied Texas State and finished one shot behind Lipscomb for fourth.
Overnight leader Cincinnati (+1) held onto the lead, ending six shots clear of second-place South Alabama, the tournament's co-host.
Ball State also counted rounds of 73 from Sterling McIlravy and 74 from both Joey Ranieri and Tyler Green on the final day.
