MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State University men's volleyball team honored its four seniors prior to Saturday's match, then defeated Penn State, 3-1, behind 21 kills from Matt Szews and a late flurry of points from freshman Kaleb Jenness at Worthen Arena.
No. 15 Ball State moved to 12-10 for the season while Penn State dropped to 8-12. Seniors Parker Swartz, David Siebum, Lemuel Turner and Adam Wessel were all recognized in a ceremony before the action started.
"I was really proud of the way our team fought in a tight match tonight," said head coach Joel Walton.
