MONTGOMERY, Ala. — Ball State (6-6, 4-4 Mid-American Conference) and Georgia State (7-5, 6-2 Sun Belt) play in the Camellia Bowl at 1:30 p.m. (2:30 p.m. EST) on Christmas Day.
It is the standalone bowl game of the day, featuring two teams who began the season slow but were both able to finish strong and clinch bowl-eligibility.
For Ball State, this is its second consecutive bowl appearance. Last season, the Cardinals won the MAC Championship and Arizona Bowl, their first bowl victory in program history.
For Georgia State, this is its third consecutive bowl appearance and fourth in five years.
