MUNCIE, Ind. — Weird things happen late at night in Muncie.
Like a middle-of-the-pack Mid-American Conference team going up by 20 against the best team in the league, only to trail in the second, only to go off and win by XX points. Ball State (11-11, 6-5 MAC) earned a 93-83 victory over Toledo (18-5, 10-2 MAC), snapping the Rockets' nine-game winning streak and handing them just their second MAC loss of the year.
Ball State's performance came after it was dominated by Ohio, another one of the MAC's-best, just three days earlier.
