MUNCIE, Ind. — Several packs of fans left Worthen Arena halfway through the second half of Ball State's 79-60 loss against Akron.
It was the third straight home loss of the season for the Cardinals (13-16, 8-10 MAC), who end the 2021-22 campaign with a 9-5 record in Muncie. Akron (20-9, 13-6 MAC) held Ball State to a season-worst 20 points in the first half and the Zips had an answer seemingly every time the Cardinals tried to gain momentum in the second half.
