Ball State took on another opponent away from Worthen Arena on Saturday, traveling to face Indiana State in Terre Haute.
The Cardinals made the journey with a chance to even up their record on the road this season, as they came into the matchup 1-2 away from home. They trailed the Sycamores for the majority of the contest, with significant deficits reaching as high as 17 points. But while BSU coach James Whitford’s squad recovered and found itself down just two points at times in the second half, Indiana State never squandered its lead and handed their visitors a 67-57 loss.
