Ball State went on the road and faced Miami (Ohio) on Tuesday in another Mid-American Conference matchup.
The Cardinals came into the game with the opportunity to win their third-straight conference game. In fact, a victory would give BSU coach James Whitford and his squad their fourth road win against a MAC opponent in five tries this season. And yet, while Ball State held a slight lead at halftime, it couldn’t hold onto that advantage and suffered an 81-71 defeat.
