MUNCIE, Ind. — Ball State returned to action Saturday for another Mid-American Conference matchup, this time against Ohio.
The Cardinals entered the game with a chance to remain undefeated in conference play this season. They were playing at home again in Worthen Arena, a place this season they were undefeated in as well. They were facing a Bobcats team that was again without its leading scorer, star guard Jason Preston.
However, Ohio (5-4, 1-2 in MAC) was able to defeat BSU (4-4, 2-1) and hand Ball State coach James Whitford and company a 78-68 loss.
