MUNCIE, Ind. — Ball State men’s basketball didn’t leave much room for doubt Wednesday in its Mid-American Conference matchup at home against Kent State, winning 90-71.
The Cardinals (8-11, 6-8 in MAC) entered the contest having lost six of their past seven games, but never trailed in their victory against the Golden Flashes. BSU coach James Whitford’s squad dropped 57 points in the first half to lead by 26 points at the halftime break, and in the second half never allowed the gap in points between the two sides to become too close. It’s the third largest margin of victory Ball State has won a game by this season.
