Another road game in Mid-American Conference play for Ball State didn’t mean another win as coach James Whitford’s squad suffered a 71-66 defeat against Central Michigan.
The Cardinals (11-8, 4-2 in MAC) proved unable to extend their winning streak to three games. They failed to record their best start against the MAC since they went 5-1 against conference foes during the 2010-11 season. They are now 1-2 on the road since their conference slate began, a 3-0 mark at home at Worthen Arena strengthening their record.
