MUNCIE, Ind. — With Ball State’s 88-68 win over Buffalo Tuesday night at Worthen Arena, the Cardinals are 2-0 to start Mid-American Conference play for the first time in five seasons.
The victory marks win No. 3 in a row for Ball State, its longest winning streak of the season. It was the first time the Cardinals had beaten the Bulls in more than three years and snaps Buffalo's three-game winning streak over Ball State entering the contest. Ball State, now 9-6 overall, has beaten two of the MAC’s preseason favorites in back-to-back games to open up conference play.
