MUNCIE, Ind. — Ball State tipped off for the fourth time in its five-game home-stand Tuesday, this time against Loyola Chicago, and suffered a second-straight loss with a 70-58 defeat in Worthen Arena.
BSU (4-4) saw its offense struggle not only to shoot the ball but avoid turnovers, too. Freshman guard Luke Bumbalough started for the first time this season as coach James Whitford shuffled his lineup again. And outside junior guard Ishmael El-Amin, the Cardinals couldn’t seem to find any level of consistency to keep up with the Ramblers.
