MUNCIE, Ind. — Ball State closed out its five-game home-stand Saturday at Worthen Arena against IUPUI, and with a 102-54 victory ensured a two-game losing streak wouldn’t extend to three.
BSU (5-4) saw junior guard Ishmael El-Amin star again for the Cardinals as redshirt freshman guard Jarron Coleman enjoyed his best game yet this season. BSU frustrated IUPUI all game long with its ability to draw fouls and stalwart defensive effort. And with a tough stretch of play coming up coach James Whitford’s Cardinals can use this dominating performance as a spark to finish non-conference play strong.
