MUNCIE, Ind. — Ball State’s first stretch of road games in Mid-American Conference play ended Tuesday with a matchup against Eastern Michigan, coach James Whitford’s squad dispatching EMU with a 69-52 victory.
The Cardinals (10-7, 3-1 in MAC) rebounded from what was their first conference loss this season last week. They did so against the same team they knocked out of the MAC tournament last March. They, in the process, have maintained their position atop the MAC’s West Division while ensuring the Eagles (10-7, 0-4) remain in the cellar of that same division.
