MACOMB, Ill. — Ball State dipped back below .500 as it saw its two-game winning streak end at the hands of Western Illinois Wednesday night.
The Cardinals (3-4) trailed early, went on a 10-0 run to take a 22-second lead and then trailed the remainder of the game. Western Illinois (6-2) drilled 3-pointers early and held a double-digit lead for the majority of the game.
