NORMAL, Ill. — Ball State saw its road game against Illinois State spiral out of control in the second half. The Cardinals (4-6) lost 85-64, marking their third defeat in four games.
What was a five-point deficit early in the second half turned into, at one point, a 30-point deficit as Illinois State (7-5) dominated down the stretch to win for the fifth time in six games.
