MUNCIE, Ind. — Three conference wins in five days? Not a bad week for the Ball State men's basketball (10-10, 5-4 MAC), which earned an 83-72 Mid-American Conference victory against Western Michigan (4-16, 0-9 MAC).
The victory marks the third straight for the Cardinals, their longest winning streak of the season, moving them to .500 on the season and one game above .500 in league play. The wins came against teams with three of the four worst records in the MAC, but three wins are three wins, especially in such a short span of time.
Here are three takeaways from Ball State's victory:
Ball State continues to shoot efficiently
During its winning streak, Ball State has been more efficient on offense, moving more — with and without the ball — and not settling for as many low-percentage looks.
