MUNCIE, Ind. — Ball State returned to Worthen Arena for its final non-conference game of the regular season and defeated Eastern Illinois, 75-55.
The Cardinals (5-6) started off playing like the more dominant team, taking a seven-point lead in the first four minutes. But the Panthers (2-11) shot lights out in the first half and trailed by just one at halftime.
Ball State opened the second half on a 13-2 run and never looked back en route to the 20-point victory.
