YORKTOWN — Burris fell to Delta 61-36 in the first round of the sectional play Wednesday. While the Owls’ season might have come to an end, the career for rising star Emily Adamowicz is just getting started.
Against the Eagles, the sophomore guard led the Owls by scoring 25 of her team's 36 points on the night. By the end of the first half, she had 11 of Burris' 12 points and was guarded by one of, if not the best Delta defender in sophomore Addie Chester.
Crazy thing is, Adamowicz has been putting up numbers like that all year.
