MUNCIE, Ind. — Ball State baseball's Tyler Schweitzer on Tuesday was named Mid-American Conference Pitcher of the Week.
It's the second time Schweitzer has received this honor in the last month and third overall. This recognition comes after a strong weekend start against Kent State, in which he pitched a complete-game shutout with just two hits, nine strikeouts and zero walks. He improved to 8-2 on the season as he held batters to an .087 average in the outing.
