MUNCIE, Ind. — Immediately after Ohio State's title-clinching kill, fifth-year leaders Kaleb Jenness and Felix Egharevba huddled the Cardinals one last time.
The pair's final match in Worthen Arena ended in a 3-1 (25-27, 17-25, 25-19, 19-25) loss on Saturday, dethroning the No. 1-seeded Cardinals as Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (MIVA) tournament champions. Since just seven teams participate in the NCAA Tournament and BSU finished the season ranked No. 10 nationally, it's unlikely that it'll receive an at-large bid.
But for as disappointing as result was, neither Ball State men's volleyball leader hung his head.
