MUNCIE, Ind. — Ball State gymnastics is ready to continue its historic season on the big stage.
The Cardinals will compete against North Carolina State in the NCAA Norman Regional at 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 29. It marks the program's second ever regional appearance (1999) and the first of head coach Joanna Saleem's 10-year career.
It's the latest step in what's been one of BSU's best seasons. It notched a 16-6 record, won 12 straight meets, achieved the team's best score ever (196.900) and nine of the top-10 highest scores in program history, was co-Mid-American Conference regular-season champions and finished second in the MAC tournament, tying its best finish since 2002.
