MUNCIE, Ind. – In its first home match of the season and the night on which it honored its seniors, the Ball State University soccer team erased an 0-1 deficit by scoring three-unanswered, second-half goals to defeat Omaha, 3-1, on Friday night at Briner Sports Complex.
The Cardinals improved their record to 4-1-1 on the year while Omaha fell to 2-5-1.
BSU got nine shots off, eight of which were on goal. The Cardinal defense held Omaha to just three shots on goal. Omaha had six corners while Ball State earned three, and Tristin Stuteville recorded two saves.
