MUNCIE, Ind. - The Cardinals' knew today was going to be a challenge especially in the rebounding category in which the Huskies out-rebounded Ball State 36-26. But Ball State head coach Brady Sallee honestly thought the Cardinals were up to the challenge.
Sallee said that when you get smacked on the boards like that it is not a good recipe for the Cardinals to win the ball game. Ball State (9-7, 7-5 MAC) at the end of the day got outplayed by Northern Illinois (10-6, 8-3 MAC) ultimately losing yet another tight contest, 78-74.
It wasn't all bad, senior Oshlynn Brown tallied yet another double-double after scoring 28 points and pulling down 15 rebounds.
