Brown & Grande’s Career Highs Help Lift WBB Past EMU

MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State women's basketball team held on to defeat Eastern Michigan, 91-85, Wednesday night in Worthen Arena. With the win, the Cardinals improved to 19-4 on the season and 8-4 in Mid-American Conference action while the Eagles fell to 9-13 on the year and 5-6 in league play.

Junior guard Carmen Grande led the Cardinals in scoring with a career high 25 points. She went 10-of-13 from the free throw line and dished out eight assists. Freshman forward Oshlynn Brown also had personal best performance after scoring 22 points. Brown also registered her third straight double-double after leading the Cardinals defensively with 13 rebounds.
