MUNCIE, Ind. -- Ball State inside linebacker Brandon Martin has been named to the watch list for the Mayo Clinic Comeback Player of the Year Award.
The redshirt senior from Indianapolis is one of 42 players nationally on the latest watch list announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) in association with The Associated Press (AP) and the Fiesta Bowl Organization.
Martin returned to the field in 2020 after sustaining a season-ending injury in the 2019 opener against Indiana. He ranks sixth nationally with 12.2 tackles per game, having registered more than 10 stops each time out.
