GASTON, Ind. — Wes-Del was a place that Brad Hess could see himself staying at for his entire career.
Hess was content, teaching during the day, leading the Warriors' football team on Friday nights (along with the youth league on Saturday mornings) and seeing many of his former students within the community. It was a rewarding job that Hess truly enjoyed and, while other job opportunities crossed his path throughout the years, he never thought about leaving.
That is, until some people told him about a teaching position that had opened up at Yorktown. This time around Hess thought: "You know what?
