MUNCIE, Ind. — Bonzi Wells understands the tradition of the Muncie Fieldhouse as well as anyone. He's one of the best players in Central basketball history. So when a tornado severely damaged the storied building on Sunday, he was devastated.
Wells was at the Central High School gym on Wednesday, helping first-year head coach Chandler Thompson with practice as he has occasionally since Thompson was hired. The Star Press caught up with Wells to talk about the state of the building in which he starred in high school.
