MUNCIE, Ind. — Luke Brown, Blackford's freshman phenom who is currently third in the state averaging 28.7 points per game, suffered an ankle injury on Saturday against Jay County.
Brown had seven points in nine minutes before going down with a non-contact injury. He will go to Central Indiana Orthopedics for further evaluation on Monday, but Blackford athletic director Tony Uggen told The Star Press that the fear is that it is a broken ankle.
An assistant coach told Uggen there is "no swelling or discoloration. But can't put any weight on it without great pain." A student posted online that "Luke think it's broke.
