MUNCIE, Ind. - It had been two weeks since the Cardinals had competed and it showed in the first set, as head coach Joel Walton said after the match that his team started out a bit sluggish tonight.
But BSU (6-1, 3-0 MIVA) was able to get out of its slump quickly and earn the 3-0 sweep over Lindenwood (3-5, 0-5 MIVA) Saturday night in Worthen Arena.
With the win, Ball State has extended its win streak to six. The Cardinals also remain undefeated at home and in Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (MIVA) action.
