MUNCIE, Ind. – The Ball State baseball team took two games from visiting Western Michigan Sunday at Ball Diamond by scores of 21-1 and 13-3.
The Cardinals (21-12, 7-2 MAC), who also picked up a 7-2 victory over the Broncos (8-20, 1-5) yesterday, completed their first three-game sweep over WMU since 2003.
In the first game of Sunday’s doubleheader, Ball State notched season highs in both runs (21) and hits (21). Four Cardinals recorded a home run – junior Alex Call, junior Jarett Rindfleisch, freshman Griffin Hulecki and sophomore Colin Brockhouse.
