MUNCIE, Ind. — For the second straight season, Ball State center Trey Moses will be sidelined during the preseason and his availability for the start of the season is questionable.
Moses had knee surgery last Friday as the All-MAC center experienced some swelling and is expected to be out 4-6 weeks. Ball State head coach James Whitford called it "not that big a deal." He said that it wasn’t any one thing that caused the swelling and that it occurred over time.
"He didn’t need to have the surgery," Whitford said. "If it was four weeks into the season, he would have never had it.
