Time finally ran out on the Ball State women's basketball team's season.
After upsetting Iowa in the first round, Ball State fell to Saint Louis 59-55 on Tuesday night in the second round of the WNIT.
Both teams struggled to score, with the Cardinals shooting 29.6 percent to the Billikens' 32.3 percent.
Nathalie Fontaine opened the game for Ball State with three of its first four baskets, leading her team to a 9-9 tie at the end of the first quarter. The Mid-American Conference Player of the Year and the program's all-time leading scorer shot 5 of 14 for 14 points in the final game of her illustrious career.
