CLEVELAND — A second straight Mid-American Conference volleyball regular season championship came with plenty of recognition for Ball State's women's volleyball team.
The awards, voted by the league's coached, named head coach Kelli Miller Phillips Coach of the Year and sophomore setter Megan Wielonski Setter of the Year. In addition, senior middle Marie Plitt, junior outside Cait Snyder and Wielonski earned All-MAC First Team honors. Senior opposite Natalie Mitchem was an All-MAC Second Team selection.
Phillips earned her second straight MAC Coach of the Year honor by leading Ball State to a 15-3 conference record and another regular season title.
