BSU women's tennis wins back-to-back MAC championships
No. 2-seeded Ball State women's tennis on Sunday pulled off an upset Mid-American Conference championship victory, topping No. 1-seeded Toledo 4-1. BSU's Mariya Polishchuk was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player and Annika Planinsek also earned All-Tournament honors.
It marked the Cardinals' (22-3) second consecutive MAC title and third straight trip to the NCAA Tournament. The team will face Notre Dame (15-10) at the University of Michigan on Friday, May 5.
