WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind.—The Ball State women's swimming and diving team opened up the 2017-18 regular season Saturday afternoon at the Indiana Intercollegiate Meet. The Cardinals placed atop five other schools.
"I am very proud of our athletes for earning the win today," said head coach Kristy Patterson. "We were able to see some depth in our squad by taking 1-2-3 in multiple events. The progress and time drops were nice to see from our Red-White meet. We need to keep training hard to prepare for Ohio next week in our home pool."
Ball State earned first place in the 200 medley relay with a squad made up of Audrey Schank, Amanda Kedzierski, Andrea Richter and Anne Vormohr at 1:46.
