Ball State women’s swim and dive lost the first of two back-to-back home meets Friday night against the Bowling Green State Falcons. The Cardinals also were searching for their first win of the season as they dropped their first meet against Akron 208-89.

The butterfly seemed to be the stroke of the night for the Cardinals as they took the top three spots in both the 100m and 200m events. Freshman Sophia Bader and senior Katie Horn finished first and second, respectively, in both events while junior Andrea Richter took third in the 100m and sophomore Maryn Meldrum took third in the 200m.
