MUNCIE, Ind. — Ball State (2-3, 0-1 MAC) is coming off, arguably, its best performance of the season after beating a previously unbeaten Army (4-1) team at home.
Now, the Cardinals will play in an even bigger game as they travel to Kalamazoo to take on Western Michigan (4-1, 1-0 MAC). After losing its first conference game against Toledo, Ball State will need to win this game to avoid falling two games back in the Mid-American Conference and losing a potential tiebreaker to both the Broncos and Rockets in the West Division.
