MUNCIE, Ind. — It's no secret that Ball State (4-3, 2-1 MAC) and Miami (3-4, 2-1 MAC) don't like each other much.
Last year, the RedHawks were the only team to defeat the Cardinals en route to their 7-1 season. The two schools, despite being in opposite divisions in the Mid-American Conference, have played almost every season since Ball State joined the MAC in 1975. All-time, Miami holds a 20-13-1 advantage over the Cardinals.
In 2017, the Red Bird Rivalry Trophy was implemented. Since then, Miami has a 3-1 advantage over Ball State.
Ball State will host Miami at Scheumann Stadium Saturday at 3:30 p.
