MUNCIE, Ind. — Saturday could provide a supreme test of endurance and determination, and that's just for motorists trying to drive around town.
As many as 25,000 additional people were expected to start arriving in Muncie Thursday, peaking Saturday for the IRONMAN 70.3 Muncie triathlon along with Army's arrival on Saturday to take on Ball State University in football at Scheumann Stadium.
The events have filled every hotel room in the city and forced the Army football team to seek lodging in Fishers, Muncie Mayor Dan Ridenour told The Star Press.
