Ball State transfer commits to Ohio State; another former player weighing her options

MUNCIE, Ind. — Former Ball State guard Carmen Grande has found a home for her senior season.

Grande is transferring to Ohio State as a graduate transfer and will be eligible immediately. The point guard was second in the country in assists last season at 9.2 per game and is Ball State's all-time assists leader after playing three seasons for the Cardinals.

The Star Press reported in late April that Grande was no longer with the Ball State program. At the time, Brady Sallee said, "I’m really excited about the young ladies that we’re moving forward with.
