MUNCIE, Ind. — Ball State game days at Scheumann Stadium and Worthen Arena this year will now include a staple sold at sports arena all over the country: alcohol.
The university announced Thursday it will sell beer at its football, men’s basketball and women’s basketball games in the 2018-19 season. Alcohol was previously available at certain club levels, but now it will be available throughout the stadium or arena. This is part of a pilot program that isn’t necessarily here to stay at Ball State, though it might depending on how the one-year trial goes.
Ball State is the latest in a growing list of schools to sell beer at its college football games.
