Redshirt senior Kyle Seger has played in 11 games as a walk-on defensive end at Ball State. After day two of the Cardinals' fall camp, he played another game.
"The Cardinal is right," sent a handful of players to the front of the Venderly Football Complex auditorium one at a time where they stood, back turned to a screen with words to be guessed. Players in the seats gave their teammates clues as to what the words were. It was simple stuff like "elephant," "unicycle," and "Olympics."
Then Seger, a native of Huntingburg, Indiana, went to the front of the room.
