Ball State softball completed a three-game sweep of Ohio University after winning both games of a doubleheader 3-2 and 8-6.
In the first game, freshman catcher Madison Lee led the Cardinals' offense, going 2-3 and scoring two runs.
Senior pitcher Nicole Steinbach led the way on the mound, going the full seven innings letting in two runs on five hits with four strikeouts. This came after her seven-inning performance the day before, as she collected her team-leading 13th win of the season.
“We did a good job of sticking to our plan and playing Ball State softball,” Steinbach said.
