In what has become known as the old I-69 rivalry, the No. 13 Ball State men's volleyball team swept Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne in three straight sets.
The Cardinals extended their win streak to five games as they are 8-3 on the season, while the Mastodons suffered their third straight loss and dropped to 4-7 on the season.
Ball State started its last three matches slowly, but that trend was not the case on Feb. 11.
The Cardinals won the first set by a score of 25-23. Sophomore outside attacker Mitch Weiler sealed the win with a kill, giving him five in the first set.
