MUNCIE, Ind. — Ready or not, the start of the 2021-22 college basketball season is less than two weeks away.
After playing an abbreviated non-conference schedule last season, Ball State — which finished last season with a 10-13 (8-9 Mid-American Conference) record — will play 11 non-conference games from Nov. 9 to Dec. 21. The Cardinals play Michigan Tech in an exhibition on Nov. 3.
None of the teams in Ball State's non-conference schedule played in the NCAA Tournament last season. The Cardinals haven't played in the tournament since 2000.
